Due to the numerous constraints in a newsroom, which inevitably restrict the creative possibilities for an Art Director, we set out to make life easier for everybody, through the use of our robots. We have developed a simple, flexible and affordable motion control solution to fit in seamlessly with your everyday working environment: the ARCAM system.

Motion control robotic arm

The ARCAM system system  is  a  6  axis  collaborative  arm.  The system can be set  on  a  pedestal, or it can even be ceiling mounted, providing countless configuration possibilities for the Director. When dedicated to a wide shot, it can be also be configured to work with our motion control dolly track.

PTZs and Multi brand control

Our software system, whilst working alongside out robots, is also able to control PTZ’s from Sony, Panasonic, Canon & PTZ Optics and can easily interface Ross remote heads and Furio. As a result, the ability to centralise multiple factions through the software makes operation of a project much easier.

The role of the Camera Operator  is becoming an ever increasingly specialist function with the complexity of systems and unique software management programmes ever growing. As such, the ARCAM system has been designed to ease the burden job and allows the Camera Operator to work well with stability and confidence.

Lightweight, mobile and ready for augmented reality, any environment

The ARCAM system is fast to set up and to configure.

Any 3D engine can easily work with the ARCAM system, you just need to set the position of the system’s base into the software.

Thanks to cellular networks and fibre optics, you can control robotic camera systems a long distance from your control room.

The ARCAM system is IP54 and can resist many climatic conditions.

The IO.BOT software allows you to control the robotic camera devices directly from your control room.

The ARCAM system can be plugged to any 3D engine and is free from the burden of calibration and tracking as it uses absolute positionning which ensures high data precision with no deviance.

With a low latency, you can connect it to all 3D engine.
